It was February 2017 when @katiegrantphoto asked me if I’d like to do a shoot using brown tones & mostly dried/dead foliages, grasses & weeds.
At the time our only option was to forage, there just wasn’t much around then in dried

As the days are getting shorter the dahlias are getting fewer, so each & every one is cut & placed in the house for me to enjoy every last minute of them until they finally say goodnight 🥰

Now that Mother’s Day is over we can now settle into winter.
I’m a big winter person, I love the rain & the cold so I am going to take the time to enjoy these months & rest because this summer is going to be HUUUUUUUGE !!!!! 😂

Is there such a thing as too many dahlias ? 🤍🙅🏻&zwj;♀️☺️

I never thought I would miss flowers as much as I have since they were taken away so suddenly a month ago.
So the decision to do Mother’s Day this year was a no brainer, what a perfect time to celebrate the women who give so much of themselves

From this simple corner arrangement for the ceremony to a floral filled arbor for the reception....... I loved this for S & M @mandoonestateweddings last spring 🥰
